As people of faith, we have a right as well as a responsibility to advocate for government policies that honor God’s creation, enable justice, and promote the common good. There are many ways we can get involved in the political life of our community, but sometimes the challenges seem overwhelming. You might feel like you don’t have the right skills to be effective, that there is too much resistance from vest interest groups, or that other folks won’t join your initiatives.
That’s why St. Columban Mission for Justice, Peace, and Ecology offers a number of free toolkits designed to help teach you the technical skills to evaluate public policy, build bridges within your communities, and advocate for the common good.
On this page, you’ll be able to download our toolkits. Each one includes a number of activities for prayer, education, and action.
